So what about fresh – that’s obvious right?
When we say fresh we mean the only form of preservation is refrigeration and ingredients arrived from farm to kitchen within three days.
Other manufacturers may use terms such as ‘freshly prepared’, ‘deboned’ or ‘dehydrated’. These are very different things.
So, what is the difference between fresh and raw ingredients?
Not all ingredients are available year round. At Champion, raw is simply fresh meat frozen at peak season to lock in the goodness. No chemicals or preservatives.
The supply chain
